Why Balloons Pop in Heat
Air Expansion: Heat causes the air inside to expand, putting stress on the balloon material and eventually it will pop.
Material Breakdown: Sunlight degrades latex, making it fragile, while dark colours absorb more heat, accelerating failure. You will also see oxidisation on the balloons, that ugly opaque look.
Humidity: Can make latex balloons heavier and more prone to popping.
During the current weather conditions we recommend placing your order for pick up in the morning. We definitely don’t recommend picking up balloons in a hot car at 3pm in the afternoon. Weather conditions is one of the reasons we DO NOT guarantee balloons once they leave the shop.
